This “ice bath in a backpack” provides immediate, on-demand cooling, which is crucial for especially in remote locations.Inspired by a tragic incident during a documentary shoot, founder Matt Anderson
developed the CGX1 while studying Industrial Design at Brunel University London. The device uses a powerful coolant injected into a thermally conductive pad on the patient’s torso, emulating ice water immersion. It’s designed for easy use by a single person, requiring no pre-preparation or specialist storage.
